This is “Choosin’ Texas,” the new video from Ella Langley that dropped last week and it’s already picking up serious momentum.

Her team is throwing around words like “viral” and “breakout,” but the truth is Langley is already well beyond that stage, with multiple chart-topping songs and a rapidly growing national audience.

The 26-year-old native of Alabama, Langley has built her rise on a mix of Southern rock edge and traditional country storytelling, earning a loyal fan base that continues to expand with each release.

There are many things that set this video apart is the timing, as it comes in at a bit more than 7 minutes.

The video was shot at the iconic Stagecoach Ballroom in Fort Worth. The venue, known for its gritty, traditional honky-tonk atmosphere, gives the video a lived-in feel that matches the song’s themes of independence and identity.

And if you’re from Texas — or you’ve spent any time around bull riding or the country scene — you’ll spot plenty of familiar faces woven throughout the video.

Calling this her “breakout” moment is a stretch. Langley is already holding down the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on the Country Digital Song Sales chart, with “Choosin’ Texas” sitting firmly at the top and “Be Her” right behind it at No. 2.

So take a look at the video, and here’s the play — drop a comment with everyone you recognize. If you can name 10, you’ll earn a gold star. Not a real one, but one you can carry with you all the same.
